Installing Extensions
Here is a list of Joomla! Extensions for you to use to improve your website!
For this demonstration we are going to install a simple Countdown module from the Joomla! Extensions page.
When choosing and downloading modules, components or plug-ins, please ensure they are compatible with the version of Joomla! you're currently running.
First of all, download the component, module or plug-in that you wish to install and save it to a location you can find.
Onve you've done this, click Extensions > Install/Uninstall.
Click the browse button of the Upload Package File section and choose the file you just downloaded.
Now click the Upload File & Install button to install your chosen extension.
You should then be presented with a similar message to this:
This method is used to install Components and Plug-ins aswell as Modules.
