Adding A Carousel
In this tutorial we shall be teaching you how to add a Carousel Module to your Site!
All of the images and text Articles that will be displayed in the carousel have to be placed into a Category specifically created for use with the carousel.
Go to Content > article manager and select the [-select category] drop-down menu and set it to the category you have created.
This will now only display the articles in the carousel.
Now create an Article for use within the carousel, if you don't know how to create an Article then click here.
Once you've created the articles for the carousel, go to Extensions > Module Manager and click on YOOcarousel
Now, edit this to suit your requirements, ensure you set the section/category correct in the drop-down menu on the right hand side.
In this tutorial we have set the position to User4, once you've set the parameters and set the position, you now need to decide where its going, in this occasion we're placing it in this article.
We do this by using this simple syntax: (loadposition user4)
Ensure you replace the () brackets with { } brackets
in the article where we require the module to be place the syntax above like this:
