Creating a menu item

In this Tutorial we will teach you how to create a Menu Item.

To begin with you need to create an article for the Menu Item to be linked to.  If you don't already know how to do this, follow this tutorial first.

After you've created an Article navigate to the Menus > Main Menu > Add new menu item button.

You will then see the following screen, click the 'select' button (outlined in red)

 Once you have clicked the 'select' button, a popup with appear with various different options, for this tutorial we are going to link a basic article to a menu item. click the 'single article' link (outlined in red on the picture below)

Once you have followed the steps above, you now need to click on the 'Select/Change' button (outlined in red below)

  Once you have clicked the 'select/change' button, a popup will appear with a list of all of the articles you have created. Click on the article you want to link to the menu item.

Now, give the menu item a name by filling in the 'Menu Title' field and ensure the status dropdown is set to published and press the 'Save & Close' button to save and publish your menu item
